The July 1 cruise on Navigator of the Seas (NOS) marked our fourth cruise with Royal Caribbean. We arrive in Miami the night before and stayed at the Marriot Biscayne Bay. This Marriot is very close the port and makes for a short drive to arrive at RCCLs terminal The 19th floor room was requested so that we faced the cruise ship harbor. We were rewarded with a terrific sunrise view of NOS arriving in Miami.

Boarding was organized and fast. Despite the crowds, time from arrival to stepping on board was one hour. Cabin 7279 facing the Grand Promenade was found clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage for a seven day cruise. I have read remarks complaining about the lack of privacy on Promenade cabins, and did not have any concerns. Just close the curtain and one has all the privacy one desires.

Our attendant was great, efficient and always pleasant. We had first seating at table 534, Swan Lake. Out waiter, Alonah Mallari was one of the nicest people we have ever met. Charming, witty and always attentive. I would look forward seeking her section if we cruise on NOS in the future. The food in the main dining room was very good. No complaints from myself nor my wife. Great food and great service! We had one dinner in Chops and had a memorable dining experience! Windjammer (WJ) and Jade provide a great variety of fare. Good food, not great. That being said perhaps I do not possess the sophisticated palate that others have, those who mention the food in WJ is average. I always thought the food was quite good. Considering the number of passengers in WJ, we never had a problem finding a table. One of the nicest people if NOSs crew, was found every morning in the Windjammer, Anastasia! The morning greeter for WJ, a lovelier, more gregarious, kind, gentle and slightly over the top person is yet to be found. She made every morning visit to the Windjammer special.
