First let me begin by giving you a little bit of background info about me and my husband. We are both in our late 20s and we have been married for 7 years. We have no children. We have been on 4 cruises each, 3 of them together. Our other cruises have been on Carnival (the Destiny and the Glory) and we wanted to try something new this time. So, we decided to book a cruise on the gorgeous Caribbean Princess for July 22-29, 2006.

We live in Atlanta so we flew to Fort Lauderdale. We flew in Friday morning and spent the day with some friends of ours in Boca Raton. We also spent the night with them so we did not have to stay in a hotel. I strongly suggest flying in the day before the ship leaves. This way you can get into town, start relaxing and not have to worry about any delays. We have always done this and it helps our stress levels!

My first impression of the ship was WOW! She is huge, like the other ships we have been on, and she was beautiful. Two years ago, when we were on the Glory, we were docked right next to the Caribbean Princess and we thought she was amazing. That is what prompted us to take this cruise. She was exactly as I remembered. Stunning!
