Ship Facts: Carnival Glory Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Glory Deck Plans
Carnival Glory - Western Caribbean

Just got back from Carnival Glory. Took a private shuttle service from airport 11 of us and $345 was a steal compared to Carnival shuttle prices and he was waiting for us when we got off the boat. Tip was included.

We chose to carry the luggage off with us which speeded it up some what. We still didn't get off the boat until 10 o'clock. Docked at 7:00. We called the desk and told them they hadn't called our 2nd floor self assist yet and we were worried about our flight and they told us to just go ahead and go down at about 9:15. Take the elevator down, it put us in the front of the customs line.

The boat was great, very beautiful, clean. You can get lost though!!! Some floors do not go all the way through.

Camp for kids was a lot of fun for the 9 and 10 year old. They went to the late night party until 3:30 a.m. and had a blast.

Shows were very entertaining.

We were at the late seating 8:00 for dinner and even with kids it worked out great.

The early dinners really rush you if you go on an excursion or on your first day. It's also great to have the pool to yourself in the late afternoon while everyone is getting ready for dinner.

Our room was a stateroom with a window. We had four in our room and once we got rid of the suitcases which fit well under the beds we had plenty of storage. Sometimes we even slept 5 with our family member sleeping in our room and our seven year old in between me and my husband. The bed was soooo comfortable.

The pool band was kind of blah didn't really get a lot of energy from them. The pool area gets really hot feels like a sauna with the wooden floor and different levels. Not a lot of air circulating.

Buffets were great for breakfast and lunch. Deli sandwiches always good, fish and chips delicious, sushi great. Ice cream and pizza. Not to mention room service. Raw vegetable tray was good for pre-dinner snack and room service coffee makes a good wake=up call for port days.

Belize tendering was very fast. When they call your number it goes quick!!! be ready. If you miss go down anyway they don't really look at the number or if you're early for your number they just fill up the boat and another one is waiting. Cozumel was fun -Paradise Beach was beautiful, nice chairs, umbrellas, free water toys for kids rock climbing trampoline kayaking, snorkeling good drinks too. The waiter in the restaurant pours you shots straight from the bottle to your mouth. Casino was not lucky for us. But fun. Anyway it was great. Jelly fish at Nassau.
