This was our ninth cruise, so we are not new to this. We booked with Carnival because of their itinerary. There were thirteen people in our party. We were highly disappointed in some areas of service. The embarkation was a problem. They had us in line outside the embarkation building in the hot Florida sun. We felt like a herd of cattle waiting to be slaughtered. They want you to register on line, however, they did not even ask for the fun pass they had us print from the computer.

Our cabin was dirty; however, it was not our cabin stewards fault because he had just arrived from his vacation. We asked him to please clean it and he did. Afterward the cabin was clean and he prepared the sofa in our cabin twice when we babysat our grandchildren.

We appreciated having body soap and shampoo in our cabin as well as beach towels. There were also some samplers of commercial personal products such as razors and creams. Read more
