Ecstasy Review - July 24 - 29 2006
Our family consisting of 2 adults and 2 teens ages 19 and 17 flew from Milwaukee to Houston. We were fortunate to have a friend pick us up at the airport and drive us to Galveston (1 hour 15 minute drive). We arrived early, around 12:00 Noon but only had a short wait and at 12:30 we were allowed to get on the ship. Our two cabins were not ready so we made our way to the Lido deck and had a bite to eat. We started exploring and getting acquainted with the many decks.
Our cabins were located on the Empress deck, which is the deck where you embark and disembark. The cabins were clean and comfortable. We had an excellent steward (Harry) who not only kept our rooms cleaned but made cute towel animals every night for us.
