We have just returned from the four-night Bahamas Cruise. We were travelling with 4 teenagers, 13, 16, 17, 19. We found the interior stateroom to be quite small for the four of them. Our oceanview room was OK. Rooms were very clean, staff was very attentive.
We did NOT book any excursions prior to sailing, and however, were very fortunate to meet a man who gave us a tour of the island (including the fort, Queen's staircase, and downtown) and over to Paradise Island through Atlantis. He was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and only charged us $25 a person, much less than the excursions available on the ship.
Coco Cay island was beautiful. It would have been nice to know that the food buffet was available on the island. We hurried and had a large breakfast, not knowing lunch was available. We rented the snorkeling equipment for the kids. They were happy with it, however, the main swimming area was very crowded. Would definitely recommend going further across the island to the less crowded beach.
