Food on the ship was very good and plentiful. We chose to eat in Windows on the Sea because the service in the Jubilee dining room was quite poor -cold food, very slow bar service.
The variety of the food was great, you were never able to say you could not find food to eat. The 24/7 pizza and sandwiches is a really nice thing to have, as is the never ending supply of ice cream.
Service in Windows on the Sea is cafeteria-style, but it is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can have as much food as you want, and, even with a full ship, there were never long lines. We also enjoyed the opportunity to dine on the outside decks, which you cannot do in the main dining rooms.
Shows on board were very good. We went to each of the shows and enjoyed them all. Nightly activities are plentiful; you should never be able to say you are bored on a Carnival ship!!Grand Turk was very nice, great beaches. Half Moon Cay was awesome! Nassau was nice, but touristy. If you do this cruise, rent a cabana on Half Moon Cay! While it rents for $219.00, there is no shade on the island. For the price, you get air conditioning, a table and chairs, chaise lounges, 4 sets of snorkel equipment, snacks and drinks. A truck will take you to the cabana and pick you up on the return. Just having the shade of the cabana made it possible for us to stay the entire time (9:30 AM - 5:00 PM) on the beach and not get baked to a crisp. Others who sat in the sun all day got quite burned.
The beaches in Grand Turk and the beach at Half Moon Cay make this cruise worth every penny!
While we did not do other shore excursion, we heard only good reports on them from other passengers.
This was a great cruise for the price! We are planning to do this cruise again in the very near future.
