Caribbean Princess - Eastern Caribbean Cruise May 2006. This cruise was not only to be our wedding, but also our honeymoon. Our Eastern Caribbean cruise was from Ft. Lauderdale to St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Princess Cays.

Before I begin the review, I would also like to say that we had made our wedding plans through The Wedding Experience, the outfit that Princess utilizes for weddings. My wife and I wanted a small wedding with a few friends and family, and opted to have our wedding aboard the Caribbean Princess the day of our sailing. This would provide our friends a family a chance to witness the vows, enjoy a reception and then we would be free to begin our honeymoon once they departed.

We arrived at the port early for the 11AM check in, the Princess staff and the Wedding Experience folks prepared our paperwork and processed our credit cards, room keys and all documentation for our small wedding party. We were escorted on the boat 30 minutes later; my wife and I were allowed to go to our room to prepare for the wedding. We were in shorts as we hand carried our clothing for the wedding on the ship. Our guests were allowed to check out the Princess for the hour or so we had to prepare.
