Miami Airport: We choose to use the Carnival transport to and from the port it was a reasonable price. Our driver on the way there and back told us facts about Miami and the ships in port. It was a 15 minute ride from Miami International (MIA).

Port of Miami + Embarkation: When we arrived in the port of Miami we were told our bags would be taken and delivered to our stateroom later. The security check was quick and easy. The line to check in was about a 7-10 minute wait since we had used the Fun pass check in. Then you had to walk up the stairs to receive your Sail & Sign Cards. After that we were allowed on the ship, where a welcome party was being held on Lido Deck 10 in Tiffanys restaurant. After that was the muster drill which took 30 minutes. Food: We were assigned an early seating at the Inspiration restaurant but only went there twice due to the dress code. So from the second day on we would eat at Tiffanys on Lido Deck which had good food every time expect twice when the meat that was served was rare. The breakfast was almost always the same. Lunch was always different and good. Cabin: The cabin was spacious and a good price and had a huge window where you could see all the ports and the ocean. The AC was easy to operate. The movies were good the only problem was that the water pressure on the shower head could have been a little more powerful.

Ports of call: Half Moon Cay (Carnival Private Island) This port was beautiful and by far had the best beach, the only problem was that we had to use tenders which took a while to get back and forth. St. Thomas was good but not as good as Half Moon Cay and the beach was ok but it cost some money to get there. San Juan Puerto Rico was the only port without an accessible beach so we went to see the fort it took 20 minutes walking there but it was worth it because the fort was beautiful and educational. The last port of call was Grand Turk this island had a beach but it was rocky and so was the ocean bottom. So it was impossible to swim or walk without getting hurt by walking on rocks. Thankfully there was a huge pool that anybody could use which made the island better. We had two fun days at sea which were actually fun and there were many thing to do like swim golf or play basketball among other things. Entertainment: Each night they had a different show and there were two Las Vegas type shows. Also there were many bingo games during the entire cruise. Also there was always something happening on the pool deck. Also there was no time that there was nothing to do on this cruise ship. Jorge our cruise director was very funny and our favorite show was Elation Idol. Service: The ship was always in good condition. Also the stateroom was cleaned twice a day and at night they left cute little towel puppets.
