My wife and I are Platinum members. We have had a history of excitement and great fun on Royal Caribbean. My favorite ship is Explorer, and Adventure. We were excited about this, our first time on Mariner of the Seas. We booked on line 4 months out, confirmed early dining, as I am a early riser. We Booked a Sheraton Hotel room at the 4 Points in Cocoa Beach, which has a free shuttle.

We arrived a day early on Airtran Airlines and used Capital One Transportation Limo Service. Both the Hotel and the Limo Service were reliable and clean.

Sunday morning we planned on boarding ship at 2pm. Access to the port was easy going unlike Miami which is hectic and fast paced. We went in to get our Sea Pass Cards and get on. Well, like I said I reserved early dining 4 months earlier, but they shoved late dining at me with no intention of changing it. Since I go to bed at 9pm, I was steaming mad that their inconsiderate staff had my dinner set for late dining. The check in people said go tell the dining room staff you want to change to early. So I marched on board directly to a Head Waiter in charge of changes. She looked more mad than I was, saying only she'd try and let me know.
