The first cruise I ever took was in 1995 on Carnival's Imagination. I had a spectacular time then. I travel around the world quite often and decided it was time to take my family on a cruise.

We booked the Carnival Destiny this time. I must say...the ship itself was not pretty. The decor was awful. 20% of the ships staff was rude...including the Maitre D' and assistant in the Galaxy Restaurant. The food tasted and smelled like hospital food. I got a couples massage and neither of us enjoyed it...they are not world class.

Our hallway to our stateroom smelled musty all the time. There were giant water stains all down the hall on the carpets. The drain from our stateroom bathroom was constantly giving off a strong sewer-like odor. The room at times would also smell like gasoline fumes.
