Well this was our first cruise. Drove down to Galveston from Fort Worth and parked in the EZ Park parking lot. We arrived around 12:45. $55 bucks to park for a week. You can reserve a parking space and save $5 online. Lot is fenced in and has barbed wire across the top. No problem with our vehicle when we returned.

It only took about an hour from the time we parked until we were in our cabin on the boat. I panicked when we first walked into the terminal because the lines looked very long. The lines moved pretty fast, like I said it only took an hour to park and board.

The ship left on schedule and once we completed the mandatory drill, we were free to do what we wanted.
