This was my second cruise, first with Royal Caribbean. As my family lives in the central MD area we thought we would give this cruise a try due to much less travel. Getting to the port was uneventful as was boarding the ship, due to our cabin category we were fast tracked and I had also did the online boarding documents.

Once aboard I noticed that the ship appeared a bit tired looking, no spit and polish look on any of the common areas. Our cabin was all that I had hoped for very spacious and comfortable, Our Cabin attendant, Lincoln, was outstanding throughout the entire cruise, promptly filling any request and giving timely and accurate answers to all questions.

I was not impressed with the food as a whole on the cruise, from the main dining to the buffet and the snack bar was a cruel joke in my opinion. After purchasing drink tickets for my 12 & 11 yr. olds I found that the only places they could get their soda's were at the bars. Call me old fashioned but I don't think children should belly up to a bar for their drinks, so the wife and I had to get the drinks for them. The snack bar only had ice tea and lemonade for them to drink. I was not impressed with the children facilities or activities either, not much to do as a family either while at sea.
