Six of us took the repositioning cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to Genoa, Italy in April. All of us, experienced cruisers, were very disappointed in this trip. I really cannot recommend this line for American travelers.

Embarkation was smooth and efficient. Our outside cabin was compact but had everything that we needed and cabin service was just fine.

Food was, at best, mediocre and the dining room service was average to poor. Out waiter never introduced himself or his assistant or did anything to be of special assistance. He was experienced but hampered by poorly timed kitchen output, poor food, and an overload of people at his station. Not even the Italian specialties were special. The beef dishes, though, were much better than usual on a ship. The buffet was OK and did show some imagination.
