My husband and I sailed on the Carnival Miracle, June 25, 2006. It was our first cruise and we booked a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean. First of all I would like to say that we absolutely LOVED the cruise and can't wait to do it again.
We purchased the air package through Carnival and since we live East of the Rockies we weren't scheduled to fly to Tampa until Sunday morning. We were to arrive in Tampa by 11:11 but due to congestion in Charlotte didn't actually arrive until around noon.
The transportation from the airport was readily identifiable and did a great job. Our complaint was in regard to the airport. It took FOREVER for the luggage to arrive and by then the bus had left for the port and we had to wait for another one to arrive. We finally got to the Port and and onship, found our suite, and to the buffet around 2:30pm.
