This was our sixth cruise, and the only one that we didnt enjoy. On the previous cruise a passenger jumped overboard, which delayed the ship leaving on time. We received a call on Saturday to come to the pier at 8:00 P.M. We arrived at 6:30 P.M. and the ship didnt arrive until after 8:00 P.M. We were given a number when we arrived as to when we would board. During the wait there were no Carnival representatives in sight, we just had to wait and wait. Finally our number was called at 11:30 P.M. and it was 1:00 A.M when we finally got to our cabin, tired, and hungry. It was like a zoo, over 2200 people in line to board at the same time. We will never travel carnival again. This was our second time on the Legend. The first time was in September 2003, and we were diverted because of a hurricane. No matter what happens, Carnival will only give you $50.00 shipboard credit.

Due to the delay the ports were changed, plus we lost four hours in St. Thomas.

My husband and I both got sick, and it was problem to just get hot soup (broth) delivered to your cabin. You had to notify the dining room a day in advance.
