This was our first cruise, so like many others, we went by the reviews of previous cruisers. We arrived at the port by 11:00 unloaded our bags, parked the vehicle.

Embarkation was very smooth, lines were minimal and flowed nicely. We were on the ship in less than an hour. I recommend getting to the port by 12:00 at the latest if possible.

Once onboard we went straight to the room (U223) and our bags arrived about an hour or two later (this is normal). Though it may be small to some, I thought it was layed out smartly, addressing all the necessities like a good size and VERY comfortable bed and bathroom (by ship standards) with good water pressure and temp. Afterwards, we went to the Horizon Grill for lunch. The room stewards were hardly seen but always on top of things w/ covers pulled back along with chocolates and towel animals EVERY evening.
