Wednesday, June 7 -- Embarkation was very smooth. Got a bite of lunch at the Windjammer buffet then did a ship exploration prior to sail away at 5 p.m. Muster for fire drill was pretty smooth, there is always someone who thinks they dont have to do it and causes all of us to stand and wait until they report! Met our cruise critic friends at the Sky Bar to see us set sail. Had casual dining in the main Tides dining room and was pleasantly surprised at the good quality of food. I had the chefs suggestion of cod and it was tasty. We attended the intro featured entertainment in the Coral theater. It was Lance Ringnald, former Olympic gymnast he was interesting and still in very good condition!

Thursday, June 8 at sea -- Had pleasant weather today and smooth seas. Did the first round of bingo no win. We missed our meet & mingle sponsored by RCI for Cruise Critic members; we werent sure of the time and by the time we discovered it it had already happened! I heard it was a very nice party, sorry we missed it.

We attended the champagne art auction and purchased a painting for our mantle. It was fun a bit different from other auctions weve attended. The music provided in the Centrum has also been a pleasant surprise, especially the violinist and the classical guitarist.
