Background Info: We are a family of four, children are 14 and 10. This was our fourth cruise and our first one with Norwegian.

Getting to the Pier: We flew into Seattle the day before embarkation. No problems with the flight. We stayed at the Sleep Inn at the airport. The shuttle picked us up at the airport and it was a short 5 minute drive to the hotel. The room was great, the staff was friendly, and they had free continental breakfast. The price was only $70 which is much cheaper than a downtown hotel. One of the things I liked about this hotel is that it was near restaurants and convenience stores so you could get dinner without a hassle. We reserved a town car from Already There Town Cars. They also provided great service. They called me at the hotel to confirm they were on their way and they picked us up at 10 am. All of the luggage for the 4 of us fit perfectly into the trunk of the town car. It was only about a 25 minute ride to the pier and our driver gave us some background of Seattle along the way.

Embarkation: This was very smooth. The driver dropped us out front, we took our luggage to the terminal, filled out the luggage tags as we booked online so we did not have them ahead of time. Then we went to the check in line at about 11am and got right up to the counter. They were not boarding yet so we were given a number, we received number 3. They starting boarding at 11:45am and we were on the ship by about 12:30. Very easy and stress free.
