Sail Date: May 2006

Boarded the Tahitian Princess on May 29, 2006 after two nights at the Sheraton Tahiti, a lovely hotel, very reasonable priced with an excellent location within two miles of the airport as well as within 3 miles of the ship.

This ship's capacity was 670 passengers and was quite intimate. We sailed in a minisuite #8049 and it was perfect. Huge verandah, lots of closet space and exquisitely appointed. Furnishings were like a fine hotel not a ship. The itinerary was incredible with stops in Moorea, Raritaia, Bora Bora, Christmas Island, Hilo, Lahina (Maui), and ending in Honolulu. We had to skip a scheduled stop at Lihue, due to a technical problem while in Hilo.

The crew was flawless, they took such care of our needs and knew our names in just a few days. Even the captain is always around decks and in dining rooms. We loved the entertainment staff, the dancers were so talented and worked so hard to put on quality productions in a limited show room. All the dining staff were so congenial and helpful. We ate in the alternative dining rooms as well as the main dining salon and enjoyed them all.
