Background Information:

Brace yourself: This will be a very long review! That said, we had a wonderful time on this cruise. I am 40, my wife is 34 and this was the first cruise for both of us. Based on our experience, we would definitely cruise Carnival again. Also, I will comment on some of the negative remarks I have read in some others' reviews of Carnival cruises. If these negative reviews give you pause about choosing Carnival, please read my comments at the end of this review. The bottom line is, some of the negative comments related to matters that are not under Carnival's control, while other negative remarks may reflect inflated expectations from those who have sailed with luxury cruise lines before their Carnival cruise.
