This was a second cruise for my husband and I, our last being our honeymoon in 1990. Wow- has cruising improved since then! Since we live in San Juan and basically just hopped a cab to the ship, I don't have any pre-departure details to include.

We loved the Adventure of the Seas. I must admit we didnt take advantage of half of the activities they offer, because we really wanted to just relax. So, we didnt ice skate or in-line skate, play miniature golf or climb the rock wall. We did enjoy their many Jacuzzis, pools and relaxing spots with beautiful views. We saw a number of the evening shows, which are fun and last only about an hour each. Dont miss the ice skating show-it was our favorite.

Our interior stateroom was fine. The advantage to having no outdoor view is that you can sleep very well at any time of day! We got a great deal on the cruise, so we were not worried that much about the cabin's amenities. You may want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, though.
