My wife, 19 month old and I ventured onto our our very first cruise, the Elation. We departed from Miami on 5/7 for a 7 day voyage .Not knowing what to except from the new itinerary, this ship was clean. The linens were upgraded to down pillows and comforter. We were disappointed in the Daycare. The staff did not want to do anything so we stayed and played along with. We did enjoyed the trip. The new ports are beautiful. Here are some reviews about them.

Half Moon Cay in my rating a 10! Carnival made it easy for the sail and sign card to be used. BBQ Food was served for lunch right on the island. The beach has the clearest water you'll ever see. We went on the Glass Bottom Boat Tour and the wife got seasick but was okay because carnival refunded her portion. The tour was okay. Make it a day at the beach. Overall, Beautiful Small Island-rated a 10!.

St. Thomas was most enjoyful for us. With shopping right off the boat and easy offered tours all around. We book a tour to Megan's Bay and Paradise Point. Paradise Point has the best view of the harbor. Receive a free small drink after the tour. Magen's Bay is over rated. This beach has a nice view with very little coral and a food stand with a bar. Rating a 8 for Megan's Bay, Paradise Point a 10 and a overall 9 for St. Thomas! Next time a ferry to St. John, Trunk Bay.
