My husband and I went on 3 day sailing of the Fascination to the Bahamas out of Miami on May 19.

We drove to the port ourselves and had no problem finding parking in the garage. We were required to pay in advance - $36.00. We were met by a porter, who explained the luggage process to us, and said, this will be the last time you see your luggage, and we will accept whatever you feel like the service is worth. My husband gave him $4.00 for our one suitcase.

Getting through check-in was a short process. I think it took us about 30 minutes from the time we walked in to the time we were entering the ship on the Empress deck. There was a VIP line and it was in the same area as the main check-in.
