First and foremost this ship is really beautiful. Everything is brightly colored and very cheery. Carpets look new even though they haven't been changed yet. To me it looked like it was its first sail. It was a shock to me to see all the detail in the woodwork and the paintings in the stairs most day I actually wanted to take the stairs just to see the pictures.

Traveling to NYC was the best cause we live just 2 hours away and could drive there. We arrived late but were on the ship in under an hour. Porter were waiting right at the dock to take your luggage.

Our stateroom was just like they said it was. We had a balcony with obstructed view. Carnival said it was going to be from the waist down and it was exactly that you could see out even when sitting down. Our cabin stewart wasn't as every other one on Carnival we didn't even see him for 4 days and the only reason why we did see him was because my comforter was dirty. He quickly took care of that. After that every time we seen him he said hello and called us by name.
