Sail Date: May 2006

May 6, 2006 Los Angeles to Vancouver via Alaska, Island Princess repositioning cruise.

Embarkation. We arrived early (noon), but there was already perhaps a 200 person line. People were processed quickly and efficiently. While waiting we were under a canopy and there was water and seats. We were in our room by 1pm. No problems and boy were we impressed.

Ship. This French-built 3 year old ship is beautiful from stem to stern, without exception, including the public rooms, the grand multi-deck atrium, library, internet facilities, and pools. Even though the ship was completely full, there were many places to go, and it almost never felt crowded. Again, this made a great impression on us, and that aspect never left us.
