This was our tenth cruise and the first and last on a mega-ship. We prefer the mid-size ships of Celebrity Cruise Line. The ship was an incredible engineering feat and spectacular but we prefer less crowds and a more intimate environment. We are in our sixties and did not like being on a ship which caters to families and children. The extra features of the ship did counter balance the disadvantages of a large ship.

The food in the Windjammer buffet was steamed to death. It improved to average in the main dining room and the service was excellent. One tip is to make your reservations for Chops and Portofino's the first night as they fill up immediately and were excellent.

The worst feature of the ship is the ear splitting band at the pool in the afternoon. It will cause permanent damage to your and your children's ears. We had a balcony cabin four decks below the pool and could hear the band clearly from there.
