My fiancE (boyfriend at the time) and I cruised along with 2 other couples. This was my 2nd cruise (although my first with RCCL) and my fiancEs first cruise. Although it rained almost every day, we still had a blast!

Hotel/Embarkation: We flew down to Miami a day early. We stayed in the Days Inn mins. away from the Port of Miami and would never stay there again. All 3 of our rooms were dirty. We actually had to change our room because when we asked for it to be cleaned, they didn't do a very good job. We chose this hotel for their free shuttle service to the Port. Well, that morning, there was only ONE shuttle and would have had to wait a while for it because of the people ahead of us waiting. So we ended up taking a taxi. One of the couples drove down, so they drove over to the port. They parked their car in the garage at the Port for the week. We were worried because we arrived so early (around 11:30 am) that we would not be able to board, but once we got through all the check-in process, we did not have to wait on line too long. Although, the anticipation was killing us! But what is nice they had free juice and cookies while you waited online. And you receive a Sea Pass which you must have on you at all times throughout the week. It is used for your room key, to purchase any item on the ship from souvenirs to drinks, and for you ID to get on and off the ship. Do not forget to take this with you at all times!!

Our Room: We booked 3 balcony rooms next to each other. The room size was very impressive and very roomy. There was a hairdryer in the room, so you dont need to waste space in your suitcases by bringing one. Our cabin Steward was extremely nice and friendly. He was always so cheerful. My fiancE and I loved coming back to our rooms each night to see which towel animal he made for us, or what kind of design he made with the pillows.
