Traveled with children

San Juan -> St. Thomas -> Antigua -> St. Maarten -> Brooklyn.

There were four of us travelling in our group, me, age 37, my end-of-first trimester pregnant wife, my older daughter, age 6.5, and my younger daughter, age 4 3/4. This was our second cruise as a family - we had previously gone on the Disney Cruise. My reactions and evaluations are largely based on our experience on the Disney Magic in March 2005.

We flew into San Juan very early Saturday a.m. (2:15 a.m.). We rented a car (Hertz) and drove to our hotel (the beautiful and dignified El Convento) in Old San Juan. The roads were all well-enough marked and we had no trouble getting to our hotel. On Saturday morning, we woke up and went east in our car rental to explore El Yunque. This was great!
