Background: Our cruise started off as being a supposed vacation in Orlando. My girlfriend was under the impression that we'd be spending 3 nights in Orlando for our 4-year dating anniversary. What she wasn't aware of was that our Orlando vacation was actually a Disney Wonder 3-Night Bahamas cruise! So upon arrival at Port Canaveral the shock set in and we were both very excited (and she was very surprised). I myself have sailed once before, on Royal Caribbean.

Travel and Embarking: We took the DCL Bus from Orlando International Airport a little bit after noon time so the lines weren't very long. It was a 45 minute drive but the DCL video helped kill the time. It explained all the things we should expect upon arriving, etc. When arriving at the Port, embarking started with a line which took some time but I guess it seemed long because we were both impatient and were really excited to get onboard.

Stateroom: The main lobby was beautiful entering the ship, a great way to have a first impression. But before we checked out the rest of the ship, we felt that it was our priority to head to our cabin right away. We walked in and the site of our verandah looking out on the Port was gorgeous. I had ordered a special plate of fruits and gourmet cheeses alongside sparkling cider (yea.. I don't drink) and it sat just waiting to be munched on after a long day of traveling and starving. The bathroom is a split (which I'm sure has been described numerous times on other reviews), plenty of storage space, comfy bed, nice little loveseat, and a TV (they keep it small to utilize as much storage space as possible, this was nice). Clean, spacious for a cruise cabin, and always had a good room temperature.
