We returned on Sunday from a 10-day Tahitian Princess, French Polynesia and Cook Island cruise. As others comments were very helpful before our cruise, I wanted to get my thoughts down while still fresh.

Background: My wife and I are in our early sixties, retired and on our third (all Princess) cruise. We traveled with two other couples, similar in age and cruise experience (one couple, however, has more cruises under the belt and got the other two couples started).

GETTING THERE AND EMBARKATION -- Booked entirely through Princess, we flew from Sacramento to LAX for an easy connection to Air Tahiti Nui (although getting from United to the International Terminal was a bit of a hassle as we werent sure how to get there and could find no one to help). Once there, however, it was an easy check in, a long slow line through security and a short hours wait before boarding at 12:30 PM.
