On august 9th my son and I took the triumph on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. This was not our first cruise nor our first Carnival experience. We have also been on the Paradise I must say we enjoyed the Paradise much more. The triumph is large and not laid out very well in our opinion. Even up until the last day we were getting lost.

The room steward on the Paradise was much better and around more often to make sure our needs were being met. Our room vibrated allot which gave me a headache the ship was totally full so there was not much they could do. Also the ship was super cold. So bring a sweater. We got locked out of our safe and had to wait for room service to come. Which took awhile and the T.V. rattled and no-one came when I complained about that. I had to fix it my self.

The midnight festival of food was not what we had expected. Again the Paradise was a lot better. We did try the spa and both my son and I enjoyed the people and loved the services we had. We did request late dining but ended up with early dining. Dario did add a chair to the end of 2 of the 3 tables so our group could all be together for dinner. The piano bar was a lot of fun. But you do not want a stateroom that is above it from what I was told by friends they could here the piano all night until the bar closed.
