Hawaii is Great, but I would not recommend this cruise. I read reviews before going on this cruise. Some good, some bad. I figured that you can't make everyone happy and thought how bad could it be?

The food at the buffets was the same almost every morning. Very average. That is, when the buffet was open. Lines are long and the service is slow. They were always running out of some type of food. I would think they would have enough food for everyone and if they had too much, than the cruise can deal with it. Better to have too much than not enough in my opinion. The last two days, they would not allow you to serve yourself at the buffets. They said they always do this when new passengers come on board, which they did from Maui on Saturday. Seemed strange to me since they didnt do that when I boarded on the prior Sunday. Did the health inspector pay a visit? Who knows? Made the lines even longer and slower. Silverware was hard to find as well as clean trays. Person serving salad apologized about his knowledge of the ingredients because he said he normally works in the bar.

The chocolate buffet was a joke. Dipped cookies and brownies. Not much more. Read more
