We've just returned from a delightful 7 day jaunt to the Caribbean aboard the Millennium. We had forgotten just how much fun a short cruise can be..especially if you are "in to" pure relaxation and pampering. We love long port intensive cruising, but sometimes R&R is just what one needs. THIS cruise provides that...especially if you don't leave the ship for long in the 3 ports it visits.

San Juan we viewed from the top deck and voted to leave it at that, Antigua was AWFUL and dirty for the 45 minutes we walked it and the 6 hours we spent touring St. Maarten in our rental "rag-top Jeep" was a super diversion. To swim in the crystal clear water is sheer refreshment. Another beach has "other "diversion..Orient Beach abuts another beach which is "clothing optional". Lots of people "hanging" around..literally. A Margarita to sip at one of the several waterfront shacks is fun. Several of our friends took excursions and were quite happy .

Going back to the somewhat worn looking ship (staterooms in particular) is a great option ..easy to get massage appointments (fabulous), floating room in the pool and easy access to the terrific (free) ice cream & pizza stations.
