This was our first cruise and we will definitely be sailing again with RCCL. The Grandeur was a beautiful ship. All the reviews we read about it being old were wrong. The crew keeps her in great condition with few signs of wear.

We departed from Tampa and boarding was a breeze. It took maybe 15 minutes. We were on the ship by 11 AM and proceeded to look around and get our bearings. The rooms opened up at 1 PM so we took a look at those and grabbed our life jackets for the muster drill. We grabbed a drink and went on the pool deck to listen to the music and to the Windjammer for lunch. Our luggage showed up about 5PM. We enjoyed watching the sail away and the party they had on the pool deck with the dancers and singers was great. We ate dinner at the Windjammer again and explored some more. Both of the at sea days were great. There were always activities going on and plenty of good food to try. We have two girls 13 and 14 yrs and they enjoyed the arcade, swimming, and the teen club too.

Costa Maya and Cozumel were our two ports. We did the dune buggy excursion on Costa Maya , which I would recommend highly, and shopped at Cozumel. Both ports were great, weather was wonderful, and we had no problems whatsoever.
