Board the ship after a lengthy wait on a very long line at the Pier in New York. Once we got to the agent at the desk, everything flowed smoothly. Our cabin was lovely and the bathroom and shower very spacious (Veranda on the 11th Deck). Our location was terrific -- a quick walk up one staircase to the Garden Cafe and very close to the health club and indoor spa. Only one complaint about the cabin--not enough drawer space, but plenty of hangers and a large closet. The interior of the ship, carpeting and decor is splendidly colorful and attractive. Every cabin was booked and the ship sailed at full capacity! Bring a 3' power strip with you if you wish to charge multiple items because there is only one outlet in the cabin and one for a shaver in the bathroom. The cabins have their own individually controlled thermostats, so you will be able to set your AC to your own comfort. We enjoyed many continental breakfast in our cabin, but wished that the menu had a bit more variety. Our cabin could have slept two more on a pull out bed which had a curtain divider.

This was spring break and 45 percent of the passengers were minors. Due to my work schedule, it was the only time we could get away. Despite all the kids, we (both over 65) had a wonderful and relaxing time. There is a secluded hot tub on deck 14 forward and we chased kiddies away when they tried to get into the hot tub, which is very hot indeed. We found plenty of places to enjoy on the ship.

The fitness center was well equipped, but several treadmills were "out of order." They could have used more weight benches and a more orderly system of treadmill time management. If you wanted to use a treadmill or weights, you had to lurk about waiting for someone to finish. They only had one fitness trainer aboard for more than 2000 passengers and despite prohibitions against anyone under 16 using the treadmills, little kiddies were put on the equipment by their parents or grandparents (perhaps to exhaust them).
