Our cruise on the Majesty of the Seas was one of the best vacations we have had in a long time. Though we are avid sailors, and are very comfortable on boats, this was our first time cruising on such a large vessel, but it's safe to say, it won't be the last.

We ended up going on this trip with my entire extended family of 9 people, including my grandmother (90 years old) and my niece (8) and nephew (10), so we had experiences for all ages, and all of them were positive.

Embarkation was mostly a breeze. We got dropped off at the terminal at Noon and had our bags taken by the porters immediately. Unfortunately, we didn't request a wheelchair for my Grandma before hand, so we asked one of the baggage attendants to get us one. We waited around 15 minutes without any signs of it coming, so we just walked Grandma through the boarding process. My wife and I presented our online registration and got our trespasses and were on board in 15 minutes or so. My sister forgot her online registration, so it took her perhaps 10 minutes more, but we were all on board and relaxing in the Schooner bar by 1:00, and the only reason it wasn't sooner was mostly our own fault as we didn't wait in a single line.
