My Sister, Brother and I just returned from a weeklong cruise aboard the Caribbean Princess. We are in our fifties. We each live in different states, so this was a great way to get together and catch up. We met at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale. We did not purchase a transfer, so we shared a cab to the port. It was 11:45 and the line was long. It went very quickly and before we knew it, we were on board.

It was my Brothers first cruise, and my sister & I were excited for him. He was impressed with the beauty of the ship. It was our first time on the Caribbean Princess and it was beautiful. My Sister and I have sailed on the Grand and the Sun.

My Sister & I were on the Lido deck with a balcony. It was a great location. Right next to the pools and the buffet. We are pool/beach people so our time was spent visiting the various pools on board. They were all great in their own way. Sometimes we felt like a quiet time, so we went to the Terrace Pool. Other times we wanted to people watch and the calypso pool was great for that activity. There was a lot of games and fun going on there, as well as music. The other pool had the giant screen movies under the stars. That was where we spent a few nights...cozy under our blanket watching a great movie.
