BACKGROUND/EMBARKATION: We were a family group of 9 (four generations)and choose this cruise because NCL didn't charge full price for a 6 month old infant (Most other lines did). Unfortunately, the highlight of the cruise was embarkation. This went as quick and smooth as I have ever experienced and I have been on over 30 ships.
TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT: We booked our own air into FLL and took the transfer to the Port of Miami. We did have to wait over an hour, but the bus was fine and the luggage went separately on a truck and was delivered to the rooms quickly.
STATEROOM: We had 3 BB Balconies and one Inside. The balconies are very tiny as are the chairs on them. The room is quite small and required stepping around the bed to cross to the balcony. There is plenty of storage..however, the fridge was full as was a cabinet..full of food and drink you could purchase for an absurd amount of money! The room steward refused to empty the fridge so we had to do this ourselves. The crib for the infant was old and small and it was a good thing we brought our own sheets, the ones provided were stained and nasty. We had expected a porta-crib but didn't get one.
