HISTORY- This was our second cruise, the first was on a very old Celebrity ship that sailed to Bermuda from Philadelphia. The ship was sold right after our cruise. This is the only thing I have to compare to.

EMBARKATION We arrived in Ft Lauderdale and found the transfer people with the Princess sign very quickly. The airport was crowed. We were told to pick up our luggage and then proceed to the second floor left. 1 piece made it through, the others were delayed. We filed a report with the airlines and then told the Princess people about the mishap. Out of the three Princess people there, only one knew what info to write down on the pad. He told us he would keep an eye out for it. We then went to the second floor and it was very unclear where we where to wait for the transfers. In hind site, I would have taken a cab, it would have been much easier. We arrived at the holding area and waited for our color to be called. It was a long wait. We finally entered and at that point it was pretty quick.

We headed to our room, D602, it was said to be an obstructed view. Too bad when we entered the room, the lifeboat was completely away from the window. They later raised the boat, cant see a darn thing. I would have been better with an inside cabin at that point. Our cabin was roomy and the bed comfy. Plenty of closet space and extra hangers were there. The TV was suppose to be color, but was faded so badly it was black and white. The room Stewart, Norman was excellent. He was the only one who actually greeted us. We had been on Celebrity, and from the time you board everyone is very helpful and they greet you with Champaign and a big hello. Not so on this ship.
