Legend of the Seas - April 1, 2006.

This was our 4th cruise, 3 on RCCL, and 1 on Celebrity. We planned this holiday to coincide with our 25th Wedding Anniversary, and had it booked several months in advance through Vacations-To-Go travel agency on the internet.

We flew out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Midwest Express early on the morning of April 1st, and arrived at Tampa airport at 11:00 a.m. Can't say enough good things about that airlines....all seats are like sitting in 1st class, and with the flight being direct, no concerns about lost luggage being transferred to the wrong airplane or not at all. At Tampa airport we took a cab rather than the RCCL transfers ($36.00 each) we could have arranged. Cab cost was $20 for two of us, and we tipped the driver as well. Still saved a few bucks and had a nice ride to the pier. We arrived at the ship at approximately 11:45, and were able to go right on board and actually into our stateroom.
