This is my second voyage with Disney my first was on the Wonder. This time we chose the Magic. I have sailed previously with Premier, Carnival, and Princess. In total I have been on 5 cruises. I am not generally picky about many things. I will elaborate about this when we talk about food. I apologize but I am very detailed. I hope this helps.

On this cruise it was just my husband 29, and I am 30, and we have no children. There were many positive things I enjoyed about this cruise. However I did enjoy some things better when I sailed on the Caribbean Princess. We live in Tampa so it was easy to drive to Port Canaveral. Prior to departure we did sign up for our shore excursions and dinner at Palo.

Embarkation: Very smooth. Quick. I suggest coming the day before and staying at a hotel if you have to fly. Because you want to get there around 10:30 or so if you can. We got there check in was a breeze if you fill out most of your documents online you move quicker. If you drive and park at the port a Disney cast member asks to see id for all those over 18 and they do a pre-check and show you where to drop your bags and park. No hauling luggage if you get dropped off or park like at the port in Fort Lauderdale. Lines were not to bad. Disneys port is the best I have ever seen and its beautiful. Great comfy chairs, restrooms, and Disney movies and character meet and greets prior to boarding. I think Princess and the port in Fort Lauderdale can learn some things from Disney and Port Canaveral. We were issued boarding group 4. Pack your carry-on light if you can. Because they are by the book when it comes getting into your cabin at 1:30pm.
