Sail Date: Mar 2006

My name is Anne-Marie and I travelled alone on board the Lirica from March the 9th to the 20th. It was my first cruise so I cannot compare with other ships. Overall, I had a great time. I did not have difficulties with the transfer from Port Everglades to the ship and I did not have to wait to much long for embarking maybe half an hour.

Someone accompanied me to my cabin and showed me all there is to know. He told me where to go to enjoy a nice lunch. That was the Bistro on Deck eleven. My main concern about cruising alone was that sometimes I would not be able to find a place by the pool unless I put my towel very early in the morning. But that was not the case.

First night, I received the journal de bord in English. The day after, it was in French as I asked. No problem. After that, it was always in French. Everyone on the staff was very nice and informing about the questions I asked.
