Sail Date: Jan 2006

This was our first cruise, my husband and I. We are both thirty-one. The trip was painless and our travel agent took care of our E-ticket and Funpass before we left home. We did arrive late from Pittsburgh and got to the ship a half an hour before the ship set sail. The drill went very fast. I agree with many others do not miss the view of the Tampa Bay Bridge at sunset.

The cabin was roomy and wonderful. The service was the best. I enjoyed the feel of having everything done for me for the week. I loved having a room with an ocean view at water level. Sometimes the water would splash up on the windows. I slept so well with the rocking of the boat. (Which it did a lot of, since the captain was running behind the entire time due to some cruisers missing the boat at our first port. So we slowed down after we left port to let them on. Fast traveling in some rocky waters.)

The rest of the ship seemed very clean. We did not get to go to that many shows. Tony the comedian was very good. The second comedian was boring. The newlywed game was entertaining. The couple we went with really enjoyed it. It did get annoying the way they played up most shows, most of the time it felt like I was back at camp.
