This was our family's second cruise, with the first being the Caribbean Princess (which we loved). We loved the Sun as well.

Embarkation was a breeze. The ship was bright, spotlessly clean, and very nicely decorated. Maybe a little understated, but nicely so. Equivalent to a Westin or Hyatt Hotel, in my estimation. Service was superb, to a person. Friendly accommodating...couldn't have been better.

Dining food was excellent. Interesting menu, well done. Portions sometimes a little small, but not a problem given that you can order all you want. For the life of me, I can't understand how anyone could have a problem with the dining room food. Buffets, on the other hand, were adequate but not fancy. Not nearly as nice as the Princess. French and Italian premium restaurants were excellent (9 on a 1-10 scale) but not as good as Princess's (10's).
