Sail Date: Mar 2006

Hubby & I took a 4 day cruise out of Tampa on March 30th to Cozumel. Main reason for going was to preview the ship. We'll be sailing on her again in July but then we're headed to Bermuda. Another reason is we live in the Tampa area so we thought "why not", lol. I hope RCCL uses Tampa more often.

Anyway, the ship is lovely. Tendering into Cozumel we did notice a rather large "ding" in her side. When we asked a staff member she was quick to mention that it was done by a previous Captain, lol. I read in some other reviews that some folks smelled sewerage. I went on with an open mind but we did smell something near the Centrum on decks 4 & 5. We also had a problem in our cabin with drainage. Water from the sink backed up into the shower. Yuck!

The cabin was nice & it had a safe but no fridge. Lots of room for 2 people. The bed could use a new mattress though. I have back problems & it was way too soft for me. I left a note for our Cabin Steward but all they did was put one of those waffle pads down. Oh well. They did come & replace the TV for us. Had to be sure we could see the NCAA Finals. Go Gators! :-)
