This was my first Princess cruise. Have been in Carnival, NCL and Celebrity (which I still like Celebrity the best). I think next time we will go in April when the pricing is better and the Spring break is over with (for most people). The ship was huge and beautiful. Despite it being just a few years old the tiles around the pool area were cracked but not loose, its amazing how fast 2600+ perpetual people on a ship can wear it down fast. EMBARKATION: Embarkation was a breeze because I went with my mother who has walking problems and going aboard was very easy and fast. They were very accommodating. I didn't see a long line as we arrived about 3:30-4:00pm so most of the rush was over with. They had PLENTY of agents available to check folks in. The only thing is Princess wouldn't like you bring your own wine, etc. onboard like Carnival does.

First port: St. Thomas.. We have been here many times, its always beautiful. We just stayed near the shops at port this time and I took the tram up to the mountain top.. I never knew you could see San Juan from St. Thomas.. it was BEAUTIFUL. Cheap Cigarettes at the Discount Smokers shop was the cheapest above ALL the ports we visited.. $8.95 a carton for Doral's.. got it for a relative cause I don't smoke.

Second port: St. Kitts.. Was nice but I was disappointed as it was dirty downtown and not as I had imagined. Took a tour of the Batik factory which had BEAUTIFUL floral and green grounds around to take some nice photos. Then onto the Fort ruins.. but the fort was at the top of this mountain.. very nice.. but the roads were not the greatest. If you are afraid of gravel roads and heights this isn't for you. They did have a shop on the right as you are almost to the ship that sells some nice rum: Mango, Vanilla or Coffee. YUM
