This was our second cruise with Princess & were satisfied again. The shuttle bus transfers from LAX to San Pedro were worth the $. Reps from Princess meet you at baggage pickup and take you from there. An easy 40 min. trip to embarkation which goes very smooth for 2800+ passengers.

We were on the 12th (Aloha) deck which is a very good location to get to the 14th deck (one flight of stairs) where the pools, buffet, and other activities are.

We had personal choice dining - but next time would make reservations a day ahead as to alleviate dining at 8:30 each nite. The Steak House ($15 surcharge) was excellent. I was concerned about the 2 "formal nites", the brochures say , a tux or a suit - but many wore a sport coat, slacks & tie. Some even slacks ,dress shirt & tie. Don't miss the dining room thinking it is "super formal".
