The ship Sensation that sailed to the Bahamas 3/23/'06. This was my first cruise and and my daughter's who was on her Spring Break from College and she was in tears every day from the disappointment of the cruise. I doubt either of us will ever go on another cruise but if I/we do it will not be on a Carnival ship.
Everyone had to wait 9 hrs. to board the ship as the crew could not pass a fire drill for the Coast Guard as this was Sensations first trip since using the ship in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The entire cruise was a nightmare. After the delay in boarding my luggage was lost.
We were late at every port we were stopping at. Tours were canceled, the food was horrible, the crew knew nothing when you asked them a question. The bathroom sink was stopped up and the shower had black mildew in it.
