This was our first cruise on Carnival. We had chosen this cruise based more on itinerary rather than cruise line. I wish we had chosen differently. We are in our early 30s and were looking for a nice, relaxing trip away from work. We got A Floating Carnival instead.

The ship overall was in good shape. I could go on about the tacky decor in the Playa Grill and the buffet area in general but that has been addressed already in other reviews.

The nitty gritty: If you want to have a nice, leisurely cruise do not book during Spring Break. There must have been 1000 children from 5 months on. All seemed to be unsupervised and running amok. You would enter an elevator and one of the kids inside would hit all the buttons on their way out. Walking down the halls and turning around a corner, you would trip over some kid as they were running down the halls.
